Olen Suomen maaseutumatkailuyrittäjät ry:n puheenjohtaja, Pirkanmaan matkailu ry:n varapuheenjohtaja ja toimin myös ahkerasti yrittäjien, matkailun ja eritoten maatilamatkailun sidosryhmissä mukana. Mielenkiintoni kohdistuu tällä hetkellä etenkin hyvinvointiin ; meillä on mm-Metsäkansan kuntotuokiot ja metsänaurujoogaa sekä savusaunahoitoja tilattavissa.

Metsäkansan Ilola on toimiva maatila kotieläimineen, ja peltoja käytetään luomuviljelyksessä. Ilolan perhe palvelee maatilalla Metsäkansan Wanhalla asemalla, jossa myös lähipuoti. Ilolassa toimii myös ratsastuskoulu. Maatilan eläimet ovat kesäaikaan ulkosalla majoittujien nähtävillä ja rapsuteltavina. Majoitustilamme ovat päätilalla neljällä eri rakennuksella; Wanhalla asemalla, Ilola Juhla- ja kokoustalossa, vierastuvalla ja punaisella talolla. Ruokailuissa käytämme pääosin oman maatilamme Angus-naudanlihaa. Palvelemme ympärivuotisesti. Ruokailut ennakkovarauksella.
