Safe and quiet area in the countryside. The center of Kello is just 500 meters away from the house if you choose to walk, while it's approximately 1 kilometer away if you prefer to drive. In the center you will find two grocery stores, a gas station, a pharmacy, a hair salon, and a pizzeria. There is also a nearby gym that you can easily walk to. If you go a few kilometers in the direction of Haukipudas, you can find more shops. The center of Haukipudas also has a swimming hall that you can visit. The distance to the center of Oulu is about 15 kilometers. The nearest bus stop is about 400 meters away from the house. If shopping is your jam, we recommend checking out Ideapark and Valkea shopping malls. Both have a wide array of quirky shops and cozy restaurants and cafés, too. Kiviniemi harbor is about 3 km away. You can admire the sailing boats and the beautiful seascape there. Stop by Kalapuohi, a small shop specializing in local fish delica-cies. Indulge in its famous salmon soup or buy local specialties to take home. Virpiniemi Sports and Nature Center is located 10 km away from our house. You can enjoy multi-ple activities throughout the year, such as hiking on the idyllic coast of Bothnian Bay. The center offers trails for walking, forest tracks, ski trails, horseback riding, swimming beaches, berry forests, sledding hills, and open fireplaces. You can also find a frisbee golf course and a golf course there.
