Modern, freshly re-furbished 2 bedroom unit on the 1st floor (one flight of stairs) in the town centre. The property has 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, which can be moved together for a double bed or separated for single beds. 3 seater sofa in the living room can be turned into a 140cm wide bed that easily accommodates 2 children or 1-2 adults. There is a desk suitable for working and free wifi in the apartment. There is also a sauna for the guests to use. Guests with small and well behaving pets are allowed to take their furry friends with them to the property. Additional fee will apply - this will be charged separately. Allocated parking is available at the property, however there is no charging option for electric vehicles. The property comes with bedsheets and towels. There are also basic amenities like shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, spices, toilet paper, laundry detergent etc available. Check-in time is flexible as Electronic check-in is available.
The apartment is situated in the town centre of Sotkamo, which is a small town approximately 7 km from Vuokatti. In Sotkamo guests can enjoy the close proximity of the Hiukka Beach in the summer and the wonderful hiking/running trails if Hiukka in the summer and the ski tracks during the winter. Vuokatti ski centre and sports centre are approximately 5 km away. The Katinkulta Golf Course and Katinkulta resort are approximately 7km away. Sotkamo town centre has large grocery stores, cafe, bar, a couple of restaurants, shops and a cinema. There is public transportation to Vuokatti and Kajaani Sotkamo-Vuokatti area is especially sought after destination for nature lovers and sport lovers as it provides good facilities for indoor and outdoor sports year around.
