Relax with the whole family in this peaceful quality lodge. The property has been completely renovated, doors widened to 90 cm, child-friendly - cot, necessities for cooking and washing, plenty of tableware, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, extra mattress, sauna on Saturdays. 20 (small)/50 km to local grocery store, have to be prepared for cooking at the apartment. Own or rental car needed, bus schedule highly limited.
Host lives 300 m away, and can help with all needs, for example booking activities. You can get a kick sled, snowshoes for two for free from the host's warehouse, or rent a motor boat and trailer in summer, snowmobile in winter.
In the middle of village in a real country side surroundings. An excellent village for watching the northern lights, and for winter and summer activities and hobbies. Various activities for children with snow; downhill with sled, skis.. Nature surrounds the village. Meltosjärvi located on Polar Arctic Circle. Porch of Village offers nice fire place where you can hear the silence. To Rovaniemi 70 km, to Sweden 48 km. A popular holiday plan is to visit Santa's village in Rovaniemi for one day, the rest in the countryside. Own or rental car needed.
