Hi, we're Nick and Laura, and the Labradoodle is Albus. We met in New Zealand, lived in ten countries and ended up in a Lapland forest. We love sharing this place with people who need to slow down. Nick works in the local tour industry and knows Lapland inside out. Between us we speak English, Dutch, German and Polish. We are around if you need us and out of your way if you don't.

Treeline Cottage is a real family home in the Lapland forest, hosted by Nick, Laura and our Labradoodle Albus. We live here and we are happy to share it. Four guest rooms upstairs, each named after a Moomin character, with a shared sitting area, complimentary coffee and tea, fridge and microwave. Key features: Northern lights, visible from the garden Outdoor fireplace Electric sauna (available at extra charge) Wood-fired hot tub (available at extra charge) 8km from Rovaniemi, 15 minutes from Santa Claus Village.

Treeline Cottage sits in a quiet forest neighbourhood 8km from Rovaniemi city centre. A car is strongly recommended as public transport connections are limited from here. Rovaniemi has everything you need, restaurants, shops, the excellent Arktikum Museum and Santa Claus Village just 15 minutes away on the Arctic Circle. The surrounding forest offers some of the best aurora viewing in Finland, right from the property. In winter, snowmobile trails, ski trekking and husky experiences are all within easy reach. In summer the river, forest trails and the midnight sun make for long, unhurried days.
