This unique hand-carved log masterpiece is ready to welcome its first Booking guests! The Villa is a perfect hideaway for those who appreciate craftsmanship and northern luxury close to the Iso-Syöte slopes. The experience is crowned by a true rarity; a traditional wood-heated log sauna with a cold plunge. Families, couples, friends, and work groups are all warmly welcome. Hello there! I am Toni and this Villa is a product of a northern-born hosting family with a deep love for the calm, pure nature of Syöte. We enjoy offering experiences that feel warm, effortless and personal, where guests can slow down, breathe, and experience the arctic beauty we grew up with. I personally have traveled in the Syöte area for years. Hosting is our family's way of sharing this region we care so much about. Syöte is the Boutique alternative to mass tourism at Levi or Rovaniemi and a true natural paradise. Here you’re close to everything, yet far from noise and crowds. Despite the calm atmosphere, you’ll find restaurants, Arctic experiences and rentals within a short drive. Visitors come here for some of the most authentic northern experiences: reindeer and husky farms and safaris, snowmobile adventures, northern lights watching, guided snowshoeing, year-round fatbike trails (Finland’s most highly rated trails), and pure wilderness hiking. Syöte is also one of the most snow-proof areas of Finland and known for its friendly local culture, calm atmosphere and easy access to nature. The neighbourhood offers direct access to year-round activities: The Syöte National Park starts from the backyard. Ski slopes just two kilometers away, beautiful cross-country tracks, and some of Finland’s best biking and hiking routes at site.
