Thank you for visiting our family´s ski in villa´s page. We would be glad to host You and we are convinced you will have a wonderful time no matter what time of the season you decide to come. Our family (2 adults and 3 children) love spending time outdoors in the wilderness trail running, hiking, biking, swimming, crosscountryskiing, snowboarding, skiing, canoeing, camping etc and Ruka offers great possibilities for all of this and more. - Ski in, ski out Villa Saarua by the Slopes, the neighbour cottages Ruka View at the Slopes and Aurora by the Slopes are owned by us, a small family. Welcome to book all three of them for a maximum of 21 persons. The cottages are made of rustic and authentic Lapland log in large framework and the interior is stylish and modern. The location of the villas are perfect, near the center and the wilderness. You can do lot of things independently (and for free) from the villa and if you want to go on arranged tours that is also easy from our villas due to the excellent location on the slopes and ski resort services. In nearby Pyhä Lapland we have Lapland Lodge Pyhä, Lapland Tunturimaja Ski in and Arctic Lodges Lapland. All our villas and cottages are ski in and you do not need a car staying in our houses. Warm welcome to follow our @laplandvillas for more info. Our goal is to offer personalized traveling. We want to promote local companies and contribute to sustainable traveling. Ruka Kuusamo and the Lapland region is the last real wilderness in Europe.

VILLA SAARUA BY THE SLOPES - LAPLAND VILLAS is a private owned traditional silver log cottage situated only a 200 m walking distance from the slopes, Family and Mini Park and the Ruka Gondola. Ski, bike and hike tracks, skibus 100 m. There is free 5G Wi-Fi in the cottage. There are two bedrooms downstairs and one open bedroom upstairs. The kitchen and living room are spacious and the beautiful villa has a private, indoor sauna. The interior is classy and warm with a touch of the Lapland wilderness. The area is well suited for couples, families and outdoor enthusiasts, who want to spend time in nature and also enjoy the Ruka Ski Resort amenities. - We also have a wonderful 4 bedroom villa 100 m away, Ruka View at the Slopes and a new studio, Aurora by the Slopes 50 m away, all are ski with stunning views towards the slopes and Ruka nature. and ski in-lodges in nearby Pyhä Lapland (Lapland Lodge Pyhä, Tunturimaja Ski in and Arctic Lodges Lapland) that you are welcomed to rent if you arrive with a bigger group. -The national park and wilderness starts practically from the backyard, (Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros and Oulanka national park). The area by the villa is excellent for trailrunning, crosscountryskiing, mountainbiking, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, swimming in natural lakes etc. Our goal is to offer personalised traveling. There are other private owned traditional Lapland chalets (only "kelocottages") in the neighbourhood making the feeling of the area very special. Welcome to experience the magic of Ruka Kuusamo and Pyhä Lapland and feel warmly welcomed to enjoy our cosy and stylish lodges.
