### About the Apartment This cosy apartment is right in the heart of Tórshavn, with almost everything just a short walk away — the charming old town, a historic bookshop, cafés and restaurants, local shops, and the harbour, where you can buy fresh fish. The apartment is compact, but warm, welcoming, and full of character — a comfortable little base for your stay. Right next door, you’ll find a lovely organic sourdough bakery, and just a few minutes up the road, there’s a convenient minimarket open until 11 PM. Getting around is easy too. The central bus station and the Norrøna ferry terminal (Smyril Line) are both only about a 4-minute walk away. With Tórshavn on your doorstep and easy connections to the rest of the islands, the apartment is a great base for exploring the Faroe Islands — whether you’re wandering through the old streets of the capital, heading out for a day in the countryside, or simply enjoying the atmosphere of the city.

The National Gallery, Nordic House and other cultural attractions are also within easy reach. One of the things we love most about the neighbourhood is having so much close by while still being perfectly placed for exploring beyond Tórshavn. The central bus station and ferry terminal are only a few minutes’ walk away, and by car you can quickly leave the town behind and head towards small villages, mountains, waterfalls and the dramatic coastline. It is a wonderful place to experience Tórshavn like a local while using the city as your base for discovering the rest of the Faroe Islands.
