This bright airy spacious apartment is on the first floor of a lovely big old French villa. It has fantastic views It looks out over the valley and has fantastic views of several mountain ranges . The property has large rooms and high ceilings , big windows and oak floors . There are two balconies accessed by French windows a great place to sit and admire the views. The apartment is is not ajust place to rent out , it is my second home and has many personal things in it . It has I hope, a comfortable homely feel while being airy spacious and uncluttered. There is a large garden with bbq area and swings. Private parking and a cave area to keep skis. The property is in the centre of a fantastic skiing area and in the summer it is a perfect place from which to explore the many walking trails in the area. There is a fully equipped kitchen , a large comfortable living room , two large double bedrooms and one single room and a bathroom. Downstairs is a laundry area and place to keep your skis.

This beautiful property is my home away from home . I am an Australian currently living in the UK but I spend a great deal of time in France. I have four children , one who lives in France. There are times when I may be there ( upstairs) and will be there to meet you but other times there is a lock box for the key and you are able to help yourself.

This area is beautiful. Sitting at the base of Mount Blanc, surrounded by magnificent mountains it is like a huge playground. the winter there are not many better areas to ski with so many ski resorts all close by. The closest Saint Gervais is about seven minute drive away. (there is a shuttle bus) It is a fabulous area with easy access to Switzerland and Italy offering a huge variety of skiing from green slope beginners to extreme off piste. Chamonix , only fifteen minutes away is an historic mountain town famous for skiing and mountaineering. it is a lovely established town, unlike many ski resorts which are purpose built. Saint Gervais, just up the hill from my apartment is another beautiful town. In the summer the area is famous for hiking, climbing , mountain biking, paragliding , rafting. Less adventurous activities include swimming in the lakes. or walking on the lower walking trails to a mountain hut for lunch before wandering back , perhaps to take a break in the Thermal Baths which are a few minutes walk away in Le Fayet . I could go on , there are so many things to do , but come and have a look for yourself , you ll love it .
