I am an artist and I live alone on the property. I love the peace and quiet here, the sense of living closer to nature. I love art and music.
My house is set in rural Gascony, rolling hills dotted with medieval villages and a very quiet way of life. The Pyrenees mountains are two and a half hours drive away, a beautiful un spoilt landscape with miles of hiking,biking and horse trails. I am also two and a half hours drive from the Atlantic beaches between Spain and Bordeaux. Three hours drive will take you to the Mediterranean. Spain is just over the mountains. Between here and the Atlantic is the largest man made forest in Europe, the landes. The immediate vicinity is perfect for biking, miles and miles of quiet roads, or for just walking and enjoying the gascon countryside. I am a five minute drive to a unesco world heritage site, la romieu. There are a handful of some of the most beautiful villages in France within close proximity. Beautiful abbeys,cathedrals, Roman villa and not to forget the wonderful market days in the various villages
