We welcome you to our eco-responsible guest house, in SORGEAT, a small Pyrenean village well exposed at an altitude of 1050m, facing the sun and the Ariège Pyrenees chain. Our low-energy passive house embodies our eco-responsible commitment on a daily basis. 10 minutes from AX LES THERMES, in the ARIEGEOISE PYRENEES, at the gates of the CATHARE COUNTRY and the Principality of ANDORRA. Our 4 very comfortable guest rooms in a contemporary style, quiet, offer a breathtaking 180° view of the peaks of Haute Ariège and the Valleys of AX les Thermes. At breakfasts and at our table d'hôtes we mainly serve you homemade, organic and/or local products. In our guest house we invite you to live and fully feel a connection with the surrounding nature. Bretons from Dinan and Saint Malo, we are naturally in love with wide open spaces and have chosen the Pyrenees to settle permanently in 2021. We are passionate about hiking, in summer as in winter and have found in Ariège the calm of a preserved nature which suits us perfectly. Particularly sensitive to the environment, we strive to translate our ecological convictions into our daily actions. In this way, we reduce our footprint and our energy consumption as much as possible. In addition, the recognized know-how of Ariège craftsmen has enabled us to build our house according to the criteria of passive houses.
Offering mountain views, Balcons de Sorgeat offers 4 double rooms with a balcony or terrace, approximately 5 km from Ax les Thermes, 6 km from the Chioula Nordic ski area, 5 km from the Ascou Pailhères ski resort and 30 minutes door to door from the Ax 3 Domaines ski resort. Andorra is 30 km away and the Orlu Valley National Reserve is 20 minutes away.
