Located in Callas, Var, Provence - less than 30 km from Saint-Raphaël Valescure train station and 83 km from Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport, La Garidelle is a fully modernized and air-conditioned 250-year-old Provençal country house, nestled in a classified natural forest landscape with no nearby neighbors. Guests enjoy a private pool, a garden, and free private parking. The bastide offers two air-conditioned guest rooms, each with a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Each room is also equipped with a coffee machine (coffee provided) and a kettle (tea provided). Bed linen and towels are included. A choice of à la carte, continental, or full English/Irish breakfast is served every morning. Guests also have access to shared spaces, including a large kitchen opening onto a spacious living room (with TV) — a perfect place to relax. Please note: two cats also live at La Garidelle. the Aquarium Room has a 140 cm wide bed (double size) and is located at the top of a rather steep staircase. ⸻ The location is ideal for exploring the region: For leisure activities, you are just a 30-minute walk through the forest to the Pennafort chapel, 2 minutes by car from the Pennafort Gorges, and within 10 to 30 minutes from the Saint-Endréol and Terre Blanche golf courses. Callas is 10 minutes away, and Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Fréjus, and Sainte-Maxime (from where you can take a scenic ferry to Saint-Tropez) are 30 to 35 minutes away. A bit further afield, you can visit Grasse, the Château de Grimaud, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and the Gorges du Verdon. This list is far from exhaustive — the backcountry roads themselves are stunning, and you’ll discover many excellent wineries along the way.
