GRANVILLE: Enjoy a stylish apartment in the heart of town! Beautiful 90 m² apartment, fully renovated. Ideally located in the heart of Granville, on a pedestrian street close to shops, the train station, the harbor, the market, the sailing school, and the beach. Free parking is available just 250 meters away. Perfect for exploring everything on foot !
I welcome guests all year round and offer tips on places to visit and things to do. Self check-in is also possible. I will be very happy to meet you but if you prefer to meet at a distance and be totally autonomous, I can adapt :) If I am unavailable on your arrival, you will be able to settle in with the access code and the key box. Granville is a privateer city. It was the fortress of defense of Mont Saint-Michel. From the 19th century, it became a popular seaside resort. Often called the «Monaco du Nord» because of its location on a rocky promontory, the presence of a casino and several large luxury hotels. The upper town is located on a peninsula bordered by cliffs, called Pointe du Roc or Cap Lihou. Until the 17th century, Granville lived upstairs. With the rise of fishing, the economy takes off and the inhabitants, are more and more to settle down the rock. Granville is a former cod port and the first shellfish port in France. It is one of the few municipalities in France to have an island district, the Chausey Islands. Our accommodation is located in a pedestrian area. It is a lively shopping area. Free parking at Fontaine Bedeau Square is 250 metres away. All shops, activities and entertainment are nearby. Each area is within walking distance and Granville has a free bus network. Museums, parks, cafes, beaches, restaurants, market and the Chausey Islands... Everything is nearby!
