The OVO Network team’s opinion - Chalet 1786 is a magnificent three-storey property designed to sleep 11 people in five bedrooms and five bathrooms. You're sure to appreciate the wood-panelled decor, with its clean yet cosy Scandinavian style. On the central floor, the living area is a haven of elegance and comfort. Large picture windows opening onto a terrace flood it with natural light. Here you'll find a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a step to the large dining table. The lounge area is minimalist, but there's plenty of room to gather around the dining table or in the comfortable home cinema on the ground floor. In fine weather, you can also get together around the second table on the terrace. The first two bedrooms are on this floor, with three more on the upper floor. The fact that each of the four double bedrooms has its own shower room is a handy advantage. Three of them also have televisions, and one even has a private balcony! The final bedroom is a children's room for three with bunk beds and a pull-out bed – space can be fairly limited here if all beds are used. This room is connected to one of the double bedrooms, making it a great family suite. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. Construction work is currently taking place near the property on weekdays, during normal daytime working hours, until summer 2027. Security deposit: The owner requires a 1,000 euros damage and excess cleaning guarantee. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your payment details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Free buses shuttle run regularly between the valley and the mountain hamlets, offering a wide range of skiing and snowboarding activities. Outside the ski season, Lac de Flumet is a popular place for families to swim and relax, with picnic tables, a children's play area, a skatepark and paddleboard lessons. It's also a great place to discover the Alpine countryside on foot or by bike, particularly along the renowned Route des Grandes Alpes. Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe is an idyllic destination at any time of year, easily accessible from Lyon and Geneva airports.
