It's a three-storey chalet for 10 guests, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The OVO Network team’s opinion - Situated right next door to the Palais des Sports, the water park and the tennis courts, and just a few minutes from the Super Morzine and the ski bus, it's ideally located for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Families in particular will love the range of activities available just a short walk away - there are gentle walks along the river for young families and the Parc Dereches has a huge choice of activities for older children - horse-riding, street hockey, a skatepark and tree-top adventures are just some of them. Summer or winter, there's always something going on just minutes from this convenient home. With bedrooms spread across the three floors, there is plenty of privacy for separate families or multi-generational groups. The three bedrooms on the top floor, two of which are ideal for children, make a great family area, although it's worth noting that there is no toilet or bathroom on this floor. Chalet Bellanis is therefore able to accommodate a group of 11 people maximum. We love the practical ski room with a heated boot warmer and laundry facilities - none of your sports equipment has to go upstairs into the main house! The sunny wraparound balcony is also a great place to relax after an energetic day in the mountains. The owners of this chalet have been visiting since their children were babies, and have always found plenty to entertain their growing family. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. With the sports centre and ice rink right next door, the swimming pool complex just a few steps further, and tennis courts right opposite, those looking for an sporting holiday are right in the heart of the action. The Super Morzine ski lift and ski bus stop are just a five-minute walk away, as is the centre of the village, with a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. If you're visiting in winter, Chalet Bellanis is a great base from which to explore the 12 ski stations of the Portes du Soleil. With 650km of pistes, almost 200 lifts and a huge choice of cross-country skiing, you’ll never be bored of this winter sports paradise. The resorts cross the Franco-Swiss border, so why not ski into Switzerland for lunch? But be careful which route you choose - the moguls of the Swiss Wall piste will challenge even the most experienced skiers. If you’re not a skier, or if you fancy a change from the slopes, you can try snowmobiling, ice-diving, or tandem paragliding. If you’d rather discover the area in a more sedate manner, try a sleigh ride. Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park just a short walk from Chalet Bellanis offers a variety of tree-top activities for all ages. When the snow melts, the slopes around Morzine become a haven for walkers, mountain bikers and thrill-seekers – and the lifts will transport you and your bike up the mountains, leaving you to come back down at your leisure. Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment – a perfect choice for families. Other activities include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing, and kayaking. Don’t forget to visit the nearby village of Montriond, for lakeside walks and the beautiful Brochaux waterfalls.
