The OVO Network team’s opinion - Chalet Plume blends mountain charm with generous space, offering a unique layout spread over three floors as well as a functional basement. Designed to accommodate up to 14 people (including 12 adults), it has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. On the ground floor, a large dormitory for six is perfect for children, with an adjacent bathroom equipped with a bath and shower. A TV room is perfect for socialising, with its large sofa and board games, and a master suite offers a dressing room, study and en-suite bathroom. A second entrance leads to the ski room, equipped with a heated boot dryer for winter use. The first floor is completed by a sunny terrace with jacuzzi, ideal for relaxing after a day in the mountains, and a large garden. The living room, with its large U-shaped sofa, is separated from the fully-equipped modern kitchen by a majestic table where your whole group can gather. A double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet occupies a quiet corner of this floor. On the upper level, two further bedrooms await you, each with its own study, shower room and private toilet. The chalet also has five outdoor parking spaces and an electric vehicle charging point, to make your stay as practical as it is enjoyable. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included. NOTE: The hot tub water is changed between each stay. It is possible that the water may not be fully heated at the time of your arrival, especially if there has been a departure earlier the same day. Security deposit: The owner requires a 1,000 euros damage and excess cleaning guarantee. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your payment details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Chalet Plume's superb location gives you easy access to all 12 resorts in the Portes du Soleil ski area. Despite its quiet setting, it’s just a short drive from Morzine and Les Gets. With 650km of pistes for all abilities, almost 200 lifts and plenty of ski touring options, the Portes du Soleil is a winter sports enthusiast's paradise. The ski area extends into Switzerland, and can ski all the way there. Be warned, however, that the crossing is difficult and requires the services of a mountain guide. For those who don't ski, Morzine offers many other winter activities: ice skating (indoor and outdoor), snowmobiling, ice climbing, tobogganing and, of course, snowshoeing and sleigh rides. Once the snow has melted, the slopes around Morzine and Montriond become a haven for hikers and mountain bikers. The lifts near the chalet continue to operate in summer, allowing you to start your trails from the summit. Morzine-Avoriaz has been awarded the Famille Plus label for its programme of activities and facilities for children. The Indiana Parc offers tree-top assault courses, rafting and many other activities for all ages, while Lake Montriond is perfect for canoeing and paddle-boarding. On quieter days, you can explore the area’s wonderful scenery on foot or by bike – take a picnic and make a day of it. Or you could visit a dairy farm or farmers’ market and get a taste of the wonderful local produce that Savoie has to offer.
