Chalet Tissières is a converted farmhouse located in Les Bossons, 1.9 mi from the center of Chamonix. The property has private rooms and offers mountain views. In 2004 Chalet Tissieres was our first chalet purchase and renovated to a high level. We've been delivering winter and summer holidays via our company Ice&Orange Chamonix ever since. In 2015 our second property Chalet Rubicon was created on the piste in Les Houches. We live in Chamonix permanently & love this valley and all it has to offer. We are on hand to share our knowledge and to ensure you have an unforgettable time Chamonix is one big playground! There is so much to do from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, trail running, climbing, paragliding, rafting you name it! We love our tennis, mountain biking, lake swimming and trail running in summer and skiing and snowboarding and cross country skiing in winter.

Property info

Chalet Tissieres is one of the oldest buildings in Chamonix, the walls date back to 1552! Now it is a beautifully renovated chalet with all of today's modern comforts yet retaining its original charm and authentic features. All our 9 bedrooms can be set up as twins or doubles and some rooms offering triple or quad occupancy as well. The hot tub and sauna are available when you rent the chalet on an exclusive basis (minimum 3 night stay).

Neighborhood info

Chamonix is located on the apex Italy and Switzerland. The lovely towns of Annecy and Geneva are only 1 hour from here. The Chamonix all mountain ski pass covers Courmayeur in Italy as well as the St Gervais/Megeve ski areas. We have direct access to many popular trails including the famous 'le JONCTION' hike. France's first ever chair lift (only operates in summer) is just up the road from us giving access to spectacular viewing platforms of the Bossons Glacier just above the chalet. Within 1.5 km we have an Accrobranch facility. Lac de Passy is just a 15 minute drive, a wonderful outdoor 1 km long swim lake with beach. Near our chalet you can go boldering, have access to Mountain bike trails. The famous Aiguillle du Midi lift (3800 meters) is only a 5 minute drive.

There is a €25 euros surcharge per 1 hour private slot in either the hot tub or the sauna per night's booking. These facilities are available from 9:00 until 21:00. This charge does not apply if you have rented the chalet on an exclusive basis.

We take a €2000 security deposit ONLY if you have rented the whole chalet exclusively, not by the room.
