The location is ideal for visiting medieval La Roche-Bernard on foot. St. Jame's Sreet is just 100 m from the Bed and Breakfast. Here you will find restaurants (the nearest being just 100 m from your room), shops and boutiques. Every Thursday morning, there is the local produce market . The marina is just a short stroll away through La Garenne gardens. La Roche-Bernard is a Petite Cité de Caractère, with historic districs of the 16th and 17th centuries. The nearest beach is in Pénestin (17 kms). Roche-Bernard's marina, in rend the house Penestin's cliffs and beaches Among the many activities on offer are cycling (on and off-road), kayaking and hiking (section of the grande randonnée GR39, bridges' walk - a way-marked path, runs very close to the Bed and Breakfast). Situated between two peninsulas (Guérande, Loire-atlantique and Rhuys on the Golfe du Morbihan), La Roche-Bernard is an ideal pied-à-terre for those who wish to discover the regions of Southern Brittany and the Loire Atlantique.
The room is located in wing of host's house. You have at your disposal : - a private entrance - a private bathroom with a shower, private WC - king size bed (160*200) - fridge - private parking in the enclosed garden. Pets are not accepted. Breakfast The nightly tariff includes a copious breakfast for two adults. If you stay several days, the hostess will be only too pleased to vary the menu to reflect the rich cuisine of the region (pancakes, cakes and jams).
You come from Nantes : On the N165 (Nantes-Vannes), take exit 15 (La Roche-Bernard, Pénestin). At the first roundabout in La Roche-Bernard, go straight on (direction Vannes). At the second roundabout (Saint James's roundabout), go straight on, we are the 3rd house on right (with wooden fences). You come from Vannes : On N165 (Vannes-Nantes), take exit 17 (La Roche-Bernard, La Baule). After the bridge, at the mini-roundabout go straight on. The B&B is on the road, on the left - carry on to Saint-James's roundabount, and follow Vannes (back into the same road), we are the 3rd house on right (with wooden fences). Places of interest nearby : Guérande (26 km), La Baule (30 km), Vannes (40 km), Nantes (70 km). We are 445 km from Paris.
