Bienvenidos! ****Please confirm your arrival time to the apartment at least 48 hours or before your arrival to Paris. **** My wife and I live in this apartment, hence you will be sharing the kitchen with us. We are happy to share this space with you. If we are in the kitchen/door closed, and you need to go in, please knock and feel free to come in. We will be glad to work with you. Or even better, if you have a pre-set dinner time, let us know, so we can give you privacy, if desired. We have always worked out sharing the kitchen with guests. If you don't want to see anyone during your stay, we suggest to look for another option, as this is our home and it is normal we are present some times. This is a building from 1896, therefore; WC/Toilettes are located only in one side of the apartment. This means your private toilet won't be inside your room, but next to the kitchen. (We have our own toilet+salle de bain, no worries.) Your "salle de bain" (shower and sink) is inside your room. It is important to know that we will ask you to remove your shoes when entering the apartment. We can provide slippers upon request. Check-in is between 12h00-18h00 Paris time zone (but if you need to arrive later, we are flexible, and will do our best to accommodate your request.) Check-out is before 10h00 Paris time zone. Kindly free the room by 10h00 so we have time to clean it for our next guests. SMOKING inside the apartment is *not* allowed under any way/shape/or form (even with the windows open.) Welcome to our neighborhood : Auteuil. Our arrondissement: the 16th. We have Monoprix and Franprix small supermarkets walking distance from the appartment. There are also bakeries, butcher's shops, flower shops, fromageries, Picard (frozen foods store), pharmacies (I recommend the one on Rue de la Fontaine) nearby. The closest "hypermarché" is Carrefour at Porte D'Auteuil. It is about 20' walking distance. You can borrow our reusable shopping bags when grocery shopping. The Seine river is about 5'-7' walking distance from us, near metro station Mirabeau. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them.
