My husband and I are French but have lived abroad for the last 25 years, between Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo) and England. The desire to come back and anchor ourselves in France was strong. We fell in love with Château Gassies in 2014, which offers an architectural harmony and incomparable elegance. The view we have over the Garonne plain and the city of Bordeaux is unique. After 4 years of complete renovation of the site, we opened in the spring of 2019 to host beautiful events but also tourism.

With direct access from Bordeaux, Château Gassies offers an idyllic setting and incomparable elegance. The tranquillity of the place due to its size; 14 hectares, the numerous activities offered on site: Tennis, swimming pool, gym, hammam, sauna, massage room, petanque court, playground and finally the large number of beds (up to 39), which allows to organize beautiful family reunions, such as cousins or birthdays. Our 5 air-conditioned Suites/ Bed & Breakfast and our 2 large gites, all elegantly decorated with real antiques, as well as a large reception room for beautiful events such as weddings. The site offers all that a small luxury hotel could offer: Swimming pool, Tennis, Gym, Hamma, Sauna.

Neighborhood info

Château Gassies is located in Latresne, only 15 minutes from Bordeaux by car and 40 minutes from Mérignac airport. The Roger Lapébie cycle track, accessible from the centre of Latresne, for a real cycling outing in the middle of nature.
