Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Evran Crehunault is a large comfortable family house with beautiful bright and spacious rooms , high ceilings , flooded with Bretonne light. Its 'shabby chique' style offers a lovely ambiance, with plenty of living space to accomodate multi family holidays and large groups of friends. Lots of comfotable sofas in the huge sitting room and bar for evening entertainment makes it the perfect place to relax in its private and tranquil setting. The garden is old fashioned with fig , peach and walnut trees , private pool with only the birds for company.

We came to Brittany with our 5 children in 1999 and chose to settle in this little village to get away from the 'maddening crowd' . We loved village life but have easy axcces to the beautiful midieval town of Dinan and the magnificent shopping city of Rennes. An Interior designer all my life I have put my own stamp on the house which has subsequently been featured in 'Perod Living' magazine and the location for Rachel Koo's' Little French Kithchen' cook book. Since the children flew the nest I decided it would be nice to offer the house to holiday makers interested in experiencing a true French lifestyle in this picturesque area of France. The house is situated on the edge of the village with it's Saturday market, two bakeries, hotel, bars and restaurants, bank, post office, hairdessers and supermaket. We have lots of wonderful places to visit within easy access to the property. Firstly, of course the midieval town of Dinan, 10 mins. drive with its wonderful cobbled streets , packed with interesting shops and great bars and resaurants. It's huge Thurday market is not to be missed with it's bountiful array of fresh garden and farmyard produce. In less than half an hour you can rech the walled town of St. Malo with its fabulous shops and seafood restaurants, Cancale famous for it's oysters and the famous Mont St. Michel is a 40 minute drive away. Renowned for it's film festival the art deco resort of Dinard is at 30 mins and all along the coast you have an array of breathtaking beaches. If you prefer to stay closer to home you can take a walk or cicyle from the house along the tow path of the beautiful 'Rance which will eventually lead you to the Port of Dinan with its pretty resaurants and shops. Alternatively you can walk around the nearby lake where there is a little beach , café, childrens playground and fishing.
