Maison Eugenie is a family house situated in the Sud Charente, beautifull green countryside with many rivers and lakes to swim in, such as Parcoul riverside complex or the blue lakes of Guizengeard & Touvérac. Visit the suprising underground churches of Aubeterre sur Dronne & Gurat. The surprising " little Versailles" castle of la Mercerie is worth the detour along with the castles in Barbezieux, Villebois Lavalette & Chalais. You will also find fun visits to do, Géocatching with Terra Aventura in most tourist offices. Localy, you will find fruit & veg, wine & cognac producers. Chalais, only a few kilometres away, has a main train station, restaurants, shops and big supermarket. In the house, you will find a well equiped kitchen, sitting tv area and separate play room, and toilet. Upstairs, the three spacious bedrooms, one on suite with shower, a bathroom and separate toilet. The terrace has its lounge chairs and big barbecue. Beds are prepared with bath towels. La Conciergerie staff will be present to welcome you.

St Quentin de Chalais, a small village in the south of the Charente, is accessible by road from St Aulaye or Chalais where the nearest station is. Situated in a Natura 2000 area, the environment is protected. The wildlife is a spectacle in the air, with hawks, buzzards and migratory birds. Sometimes early in the morning, we can observe roe deer and hares passing through. The peacefull countryside lends itself to calm and relaxation.
