Located in Beire-le-Châtel, in the heart of a peaceful village in the Burgundian countryside near Dijon, the Gîte du Tilleul offers the perfect setting to recharge your batteries. It is housed in an 18th-century farmhouse, whose original charm has been preserved through a complete renovation. Today, the house combines authenticity with modern comfort, offering a simple, warm, and pleasant setting to unwind. Its prime location along the Netherlands/Belgium → Southern France route makes it a perfect stopover for travelers in transit, while also serving as an ideal base for exploring the region. Just a few minutes from major highways, you’ll enjoy a quiet, green, and easily accessible environment. The surrounding region is rich in natural and cultural treasures: numerous forest walks and country paths invite you to unwind, while history buffs can explore a wide variety of castles, abbeys, historic villages, and of course the famous Wine Coast, known for its protected landscapes and prestigious estates. For family activities, the Arc-sur-Tille recreation center offers swimming, a beach, and play areas—ideal for enjoying a day in the great outdoors. Just a five-minute drive from the cottage, several ponds offer a peaceful setting for fishing. Whether you’re an avid angler or traveling with a family member who enjoys fishing, these quiet and easily accessible spots provide a much-appreciated outdoor activity. The Gîte du Tilleul charms guests with its warm atmosphere, large shaded garden, and amenities designed for both short stays and extended vacations. Whether you’re heading south, seeking tranquility, or eager to explore Burgundy, you’ll find a welcoming, convenient, and rejuvenating place to stay.
We are Niels and Morgane, your hosts at the Gîte du Tilleul. We renovated this former farmhouse with the aim of creating a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We live on the same property and are available to help if needed, while ensuring you enjoy complete peace and privacy.
The gîte is located in a quiet residential street in Beire‑le‑Châtel, just a short walk from the village centre. The street offers a peaceful setting with easy access to essential shops and convenient routes towards Dijon and the Norges valley.
