You will have two proper, independent bedrooms, each equipped with a comfortable double bed (140x190cm), promising gentle and restful nights. The main living area is a bright and welcoming space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The lounge features a BZ-style sofa bed (providing an additional 140cm sleeping space), ideal for reading, planning your outings, or simply doing nothing at all. For food lovers, the separate, fully equipped kitchen will be your greatest ally. You will find everything you need (hobs, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker) to prepare delicious meals. It's the perfect place to try your hand at local recipes after bringing back treasures from the Périgord markets. A functional shower room and free Wi-Fi complete the amenities, ensuring a worry-free stay. What makes this gîte unique is its atmosphere: it's a place that invites you to disconnect. The Gîte du Vert Galant enjoys an exceptional location in Brantôme, aptly nicknamed the "Venice of the Périgord Vert." It's the ideal neighborhood for those who want to do everything on foot and leave the car behind. You will be staying in an environment that is both lively and natural. Just 150 meters away, you can reach the vibrant heart of the town, with its artisan shops, cafés, and the charm of its historic streets. The key feature is the immediate proximity to the river. The Dronne, which encircles the town, is like your own backyard. You are just a few steps from the docks for a romantic riverboat tour (bateau-mouche) or a more adventurous canoeing or kayaking trip under the stone bridges. The riverbanks are also the starting point for magnificent walks along shady paths. The neighborhood is perfectly equipped for relaxation and family fun. Less than 50 meters from the gîte, you'll find a children's playground and a pétanque court for friendly evening games. When it comes to gastronomy, you are at the heart of what makes the Périgord famous. Numerous restaurants, from the casual riverside eatery (guinguette) to the fine dining restaurant, are all within walking distance, allowing you to easily savour the local specialties. Day-to-day life is also very easy: all the local shops (bakery, pharmacy, grocery store) are just a few minutes away.
