La Maisonnette is a delightful period stone gîte located within the historic part of the village of Auvers-sur-Oise. Charming 60m2 two bedroom duplex self-catering apartment for 1-4 people with own entrance and patio/garden. Newly refurbished kitchen . Situated at the end of a quiet lane with free parking. Free fibre wifi throughout. This is a self check-in property with a drop-box to collect keys. For guests who wish to be welcomed in person please let us know in advance and we will attempt to accommodate. Please note that pricing and number of beds prepared varies in relation to the number of guests booked.
Located 300m from 'Maison du Dr Gachet', the former home of Van Gogh's doctor (now a museum). Creperie, bar, boulangerie/patisserie and convenience store are all within five minutes' walk. Auvers-sur-Oise is a picturesque village nestled in the Vexin Français Natural Regional Park. It was much loved by the Impressionists, in particular Van Gogh, who described it as "seriously beautiful" . Further afield, we recommend the artistic and historic town of Pontoise (5km) and the pretty tourist town of L'isle-Adam (10km). Paris is 35km away. Excellent transport links, bus stop 50m (L'isle-Adam to Cergy line), nearest train station Chaponval 900m( Change at Pontoise for Paris). Nearest airport is Paris Charles de Gaulle ( 35km).
