Gîtes de Source is a collection of three high-end rustic holiday homes designed for those who value peace, vitality, and authenticity. Set against a backdrop of rolling vineyards and open countryside, the property centers around a beautiful saltwater pool and quiet garden spaces. We’ve focused on creating an environment that feels like a home rather than a hotel—think airy interiors, private terraces for long summer evenings, and a "farm-to-table" aesthetic that honors our rural French setting. An idyllic getaway in the French Countryside! The Peyron family who run the Gites are extremely welcoming and accommodating, and made our stay even better. Great facilities, enough room for 10+ people to stay across the 3 Gites, and an amazing pool to cool down. Staying in Gites de Source is more like having your dream home with the perfect hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bordeaux and looking for a comfortable stay.

The Authentic Heart of Southwest France, located in the quiet village of Chatenet, we are perfectly positioned between the vibrant city of Bordeaux and the coastal charm of Royan and the Atlantic beaches (both about 60 minutes away). For those interested in visiting the many vineyards in the area, we are 50 minutes from Saint Emilion, world heritage town and Cognac. This is a "hidden" part of France, free from the heavy crowds of the coast but rich in local character. Our neighbourhood is defined by its markets, artisanal bakeries, and endless trails through the woods and vineyards—perfect for cycling or a morning walk. It’s an area for travelers who want to experience the real Charente-Maritime, away from the crowds. At the same time, we are just a 20 minute drive from the thermal spa town of Jonzac where you'll also find 'Les Antilles de Jonzac', one of Europe's largest indoor water parks and thermal spas.
