We hope to provide guest with a great holiday experience. We offer food in our restaurant if you fancy a break from cooking and during the summer there are events held on site like musicians an singers etc. We have run gites and mobile homes in France for over 6 years and pride ourselves on giving the best customer service and for being friendly, welcoming hosts.

Property info

The gites at La Charrue are bright and well equipped. They can be rented as individuals or together for large parties. The gites are situated around a private courtyard overlooking the pool area and on-site is a bar restaurant, minigolf and play area. There is a firepit area for convivial evenings and outdoor tables and chairs for alfesco dining. Each gite has it's own kitchen with fridge, microwave, cooker, toaster and kettle. There is a studio gite, a one bedroomed gite and a 2 bedroomed gite all have shower rooms and dining area. All bedlinen and towels are provided along with all the amenities you need to ensure a comfortable stay.

Neighborhood info

La Charrue is situated in northern Dordogne between the city of Angouleme in the Charente and Perigueux in the Dordogne. The area is beautifully unspoilt with the picturesque countryside of the Perigord Vert, the many historic Chateaux and wonderful town and cities to explore. Brantome is a short drive away. It is a pretty town with a historic abbey to explore, many shops, restaurants and bars along edges of the river Dronne. Nearby are also many activities including canoeing, visiting caves (grottes), wildlife parks, acrobranche, golfing, horseriding. lakes with beaches, visits to Chateaux, ancient churches, market towns, breweries, and wineries.
