Grange Bleuet started it's life a few hundred years ago as a barn in the heart of a charming village, Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, in the South West of France. The building was refurbished into a characterful house and has been running as a B&B for the last eight years. The house is set on a peaceful and tranquil square. We offer our guests modern comfort in spacious suites, in an authentic French setting and all our rooms have magnificent views. A special breakfast is included every morning. Either served in the garden or in the communal dining room on chilly mornings. Each suite comes with a coffee maker and small fridge. O​ur rooms are styled with attention to detail that brings character and heaps of style in line with the with the setting and charm of the building. !

I love welcoming and meeting new guests, making them feel at home and sharing all the best local gems to visit. Decorating, art and cooking are my hobbies and alongside that is creating inviting and comfortable living spaces. A francophile at heart, all things french and stylish is what makes me tick.

Aubeterre-sur-Dronne is a typical charming french village and the honored owner of the largest monolithic church in Europe. The village also prides itself with a ranking on the list of most beautiful villages in France. Located in the Southern Charente it borders on the Dordogne region famous for historic villages, Châteaux, pre-historic caves and incredible landscapes. There is a lovely square with terraces and quaint restaurants in the centre. What a delight to wander around the narrow romantic, medieval streets with it's typical stone houses that give the village that special, picturesque character. The Dronne river that flows past the village at the bottom of the hill, also adds to the magic. The river beach is enjoyed for swimming and playing, picnicking on the banks and evening sundowners, during the summer months it becomes a hive of activity. Every Sunday morning the square comes alive with stall holders displaying their fresh produce, musicians join in and a convivial local market takes place. Proud shop owners attend to his or her wares on this day. The monolithic church is a must for everyone who visits the area. In all Aubeterre is a gem and well worth a visit!!
