Our 2 apartments have been recently created within our 17th century farmhouse, providing modern amenities in an ancient building. Enjoy peaceful views from the accommodation over our own fields, set in the glorious Tarn countryside.
Having come to settle in France from Cheshire, England, we have grown to love the Tarn, its culture and its people. The wide open space has made it possible to keep our own horses, dogs and vintage vehicles and enjoy the freedom which the countryside allows.
La Barthe Haute is on the edge of the village of Puycalvel. 6 kilometres away is the ancient village of Lautrec, one of the "beaux villages de France" and home of l'ail rose, the pink garlic, which is sought after by gourmands the world over. Within 30 minutes drive you can visit the the towns of Castres, Albi, a Unesco world heritage site, and Gaillac, famous for its wines.
