On the 1st floor of the main house, the family suites Les Tilleuls and La Charmille are each composed of a small room with 2 beds 80x200 and a room with 1 bed 160x200 as well as a private and separate bathroom and toilet. On the 1st floor of the outbuilding, the La Prairie bedroom has a 160x200 bed, 1 shower room open onto the bedroom and 1 private and separate toilet. We put at your disposal what you need for a picnic : barbecue, garden table, refrigerator.
We fell under the spell of this region in 2001, particularly the Charité sur Loire and this house abandoned for 40 years! It took us about 7 years to restore it during our vacations and weekends. What an adventure ! I had always wanted to offer what I myself had received during my travels and stays in guesthouses. One of my greatest pleasures is discovering the thanks and other touches that our hosts write in our guestbooks. The well-being, simplicity and calm of La Cuvellerie are the 3 words that come up most often...
The guest rooms of La Cuvellerie are 9 km from the town of La Charité sur Loire, a Cluniac site and town of ancient books built on the banks of the Loire. Charité-sur-Loire developed around a Cluniac priory and two churches erected by monks in 1059, all protected by ramparts. The Bertranges national forest, the Loire nature reserve and several vineyards are close to La Cuvellerie: (Pouilly fumé, Sancerre, Coteaux Charitois, Coteaux du Giennois)
