Domaine de Pouroutounat has been offered as a holiday home since 2011. Jon and Vicky bought it in January 2020 and have continued the great work of the previous owners. The traditional Farmhouse is one of three buildings on the property, with large airy rooms, and access to the beautiful extensive gardens and woodland. Rooms have traditional furniture, but with modern amenities, such as a large range cooker. There is a large patio with a door directly from the kitchen, with ample seating for 16 people under large umbrellas. Dinner on the patio is a must! With 3 hectares of land, Pouroutounat is a nature lovers paradise. There are cool shady places to rest during the daytime, plus the numerous large umbrellas surrounding the heated pool, not forgetting the large poolhouse with built-in bbq. Only 4 km from the outskirts of Mirepoix, there are plenty of things to do locally. Over 20 restaurants and bars can be found in Mirepoix, plus 3 supermarkets. Further afield, Carcassonne is only 35 minutes away, and Andorra with its duty-free shopping can be reached in under 2 hours.

Situated in the heart of the Ariege countryside, just 4km from Mirepoix, this house is surrounded by countryside. Many tracks and paths lead away from the house and are perfectly safe for long walks. Amazing views of the Pyrenees are only a 5 minute walk away. Chemin de St Jacques is also only a 5 minute walk away. The area is also great for cycling, with long flat roads leading towards the mountains, and then the ascents begin!
