Twenty years ago we wanted to buy a house in France for our holidays and we found Le Coustal. We restored first the old farmhouse dated 1870 and this is the place we live in ourselves. Then we started to restore all the other buildings on the property. Many years later we could buy the land of our neighbors and we were able to completely renovate the Maison de Maitre and opening it for guests three years ago. We are originally from the Netherlands, however 12 years ago we moved from Holland to the United Arab Emirates with our daughter Sanne. Nowadays I spend my time between France and the Emirates and together with my daughter Sanne and a dedicated team we take care of our guests in France and Spain, where we also have a family property, hosted by my cousin Gijb. We try to give space and privacy as much as possible to the guests. We do pass by to take care of the gardens and pool.

Property info

A beautiful old farm in the heart of the Dordogne. The house is located in the centre of a 15 ha domaine, with other holiday homes. It is surrounded by gardens and within 5 minutes you can walk in the forest. The house has been a personal family home for 26 years and therefore decorated with a lot of care. The main house itself has 3 bedrooms. There is also a little gite, which sleeps 2 persons and a tower that sleeps 2 people as well.
