A large, stone barn beautifully restored to a high standard. Private & exclusive garden and fenced pool ( Pool 6mx4m). Holidays start dates are Saturdays only. Pool is open from mid- May to the end of September only. AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND- PERFECT FOR FRIENDS, FAMILIES and COUPLES. The surrounding area has much to offer all ages- KAYAKING, FUN WATERPARKS, ANIMAL PARKS, HORSERIDING, GOLF, QUAD-BIKING, VINEYARDS. SKIING is just 90 mins away- a great day out on the slopes at Le Lioran, Mont Dore or Super Besse. FLIGHTS FROM MANY UK AIRPORTS TO BRIVE, LIMOGES, FIGEAC, BERGERAC, BORDEAUX, TOULOUSE. The region has BEAUTIFUL SCENERY, GORGES, RIVERS, CUTE AND HISTORIC VILLAGES AND TOWNS waiting for you only a short drive away. Imagine spending Christmas and New year at the barn ! Great for HONEYMOONERS too. Actual capacity is 2-8* plus two babies can stay free of charge. The barn is so cosy in the WINTER with HEATING in all rooms and a lovely Harmann XXV fire ( automatic) REST, RELAX, EXPLORE and HAVE FUN. If you enjoy art- metal work, sculptors, paintings- well the village will have much to offer you. We are so fortunate to have so many artists in residence. An evening stroll around the village will delight you.
We fell in love with the barn the moment we saw it. We restored it from its original function as a working barn and cow shed. We lovingly dedicated every holiday from 2001 to 2006 transforming it into the cosy, comfortable beautifully appointed and equipped barn that is enjoyed by all our clients. The area and local people are so welcoming. The scenery and villages are breathtakingly beautiful.
The villages is locally renowned as a village of artists. Many artists live in and around the village, with their artworks on display. Enjoy walking around the village to see their skills and talent. PLACES TO VISIT: There are so many places to visit: Picturesque towns/villages: Rocamadour,Turenne, Collonges La Rouge, Autoire, Carennac, Bretenoux, Martel, Curemonte, St Cère, Gluges, Domme, Sarlat, Beynac, St Cirq la Popie, Figeac, Cahors. Paleolithic settlements/caves: Lascaux ,Les Eyzies Picturesque drives along the Dordogne- night lighting to pretty villages along the river- Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac et Cazenac, Carsac-Aillac, St. Cyprien Grottes- (Stalactites and stalagmites)- Grotte de Presque, du Merveilles, Gouffre de Padirac- chasm with underground river (boat rides).
