As the hostess of my little guesthouse, La Maison d'Art, I have fulfilled a long-cherished dream. On an old farm in the south of France, I have created a place that combines tranquillity, inspiration and a sense of community. With great attention to detail, I have renovated the farmstead and transformed it into a place where people can arrive, take a deep breath and recharge their batteries. My guests will find two cosy rooms with breakfast, as well as a holiday flat – nestled in the quiet, expansive countryside. It is important to me that everyone feels welcome. La Maison d'Art is intended to be a place where connections can form, where conversations take place under the open sky, and where one can simply be oneself. Many guests come to escape the daily grind, to find peace, or to discover new creativity. Perhaps over a coffee in the morning sun, whilst gazing out over the countryside, or in a quiet moment in the garden. Four-legged family members are also welcome here. I have deliberately created space for dogs so that they can stay in the holiday flat with their family and explore the surroundings. All around the farm, numerous meadows, fields and woods invite you to take long walks. It is important to me that we treat nature with respect: consideration should, of course, be shown to the animals in the woods and to other guests
