Old property. Very central location, full of charm, nearby all necessary amenities Double glazing stops city noise. Easy to find parking . Two minute walk to Place Carnot . 20 minute walk to the cité/ castle. Surrounded with great shops , bars and restaurants, opposite a pharmacy and baker .Two minutes to Les Halles . Close to bus to visit other areas including Carcassonne Beach/ Lac de Cavayère (15 mins on bus ) . Free fibre . 2 bathrooms . Spacious.
We hope you enjoy your stay. We are both professional viticulteurs and also run a chambres d’hôtes in Tuchan . We are a mixed french / English family . We try to make our accommodations as comfortable as we would want and often stay in Carcassonne ourselves . Enjoy .
We hope you enjoy your stay . This apartment is perfectly situated to reach all attractions and amenities in Carcassonne . Two minutes walk to Place Carnot or Les Halles . Fifteen to twenty minute walk to La Cité/ castle via the Pont Vieux. Surrounded by a bus link to reach several locations / villages nearby. Fabulous restaurants on rue de verdun itself , plus an excellent wine cave a stones throw away. We often spend weekends here just relaxing in bars or restaurants , visiting galleries or we attend the amazing music festival in July . The Carcassonne beach/ Lac de la Cavayere is a bonus with paddle boarding and pop up restaurants in the summer( accessible by the bus in 15 minutes) . This is an all year round location . The Christmas markets and ice rink are always fun and get you in the Christmas mood . There is a fabulous Saturday market in boulevard Commandant Roumens and Place Carnot has a market Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday . Although in the centre of the Bastide the apartment is quiet as it has excellent double glazing .Always something to do there !
