Property info

In lavender fields between Avignon and Valence, a convivial Provençal house. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens, the bastide sits large and square amid old outbuildings concealing perfectly converted gîtes. Bare stone façades and limestone trims under a Provençal roof set the tone for simple, fresh, uncluttered interiors: new limestone floors, white furniture, neutral tones and flashes of unexpected colour. Bedding is sumptuous, bathrooms fashionably funky, views from the beautiful pale blue pool glide pleasingly over rows of poplars and fields of lavender. The hostess gives convivial dinner parties cooked with only fresh local products under the chestnut tree or in the dining room for minimum 4 people.
