Located along the Biscarrosse Lake, La Réserve offers outdoor and indoor swimming pools with water slides, children’s clubs and evening entertainment. There is also bicycle hire on site. All mobile homes feature a furnished terrace with BBQ facilities, a seating area and a private bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Les Saveurs de la Réserve Restaurant serves traditional food and there are two bars can L’Airial and La Luna. A supermarket and takeaway are also ideally located on site. Additional features include a range of sports, children’s playgrounds and possibility to hire a baby kit. Côte des Landes is 13 mi away and free private parking is possible on site.

Neighborhood info

La Réserve is located in Gastes, a village in Les Landes area. It is close to the stunning beaches of Aquitaine (at 13 miles) and the Dune du Pyla, Europe's largest sand dune. Cycle paths lead from the holiday village through the surrounding forests and to the coast. You can choose between the calm and clear waters of the lake, or the wavy ocean and try to do surfing! If you are more into city and architecture, Bordeaux is also a place to visit. It is known for its wine, but it offers much more. It is filled with magnificent 18th and 19th century buildings, cathedrals, World Heritage listed monuments, a theatre and not to mention a wealth of luxury shops. You'll definitely need more than a day to tour this fabulous city. The region "Les Landes" also has a good reputation for its cuisine : duck confit, duck fillet, foie gras, fresh asparagus and delicious desserts : like Pastis Landais,( a regional cake with aniseed and sometimes rhum) or canelés (small vanilla cakes from Bordeaux)! And don't miss to try Bordeaux Wine!
