The accommodation is in a private, independent house, separate from the main house where the owners live. The Little House has one bedroom (with a double bed), a lounge, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The Little House overlooks the swimming pool and the garden. We host only one couple at a time, there will be no other guests when you stay here. We serve breakfast on the terrace next to the pool, just in front of The Little House. Enjoy croissants, fresh breads, home-made jams, locally produced apple juice, home-made granola and yoghurt, local hams and cheeses. We serve tea with home-made biscuits or cake as well as an evening aperitif on your arrival.
We are an English/French couple who are passionate about gardening and cooking. It is a real pleasure for us to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We love getting to know our guests.
Olivet is a small, quiet town to the south of Orléans. There are small shops, cafés and restaurants and a weekly local market where you can buy cheeses, fruit and cold meats. We are near the river Loiret which is well-known for its water mills and is a pleasant place for walking along the river. There are cycle paths which enable you to cycle safely into the centre of Orléans where you can visit the cathedral, the Joan of Arc house, the banks of the river Loire as well as the historic centre. We are also within easy driving distance of some of the most beautiful chateaux in the Loire Valley - Chambord, Chenonceau, Azay le Rideau.
