Nestled down a quiet side street in the heart of the medieval village village of Montcuq, Le Coucou is housed in one of the few timber framed houses. Its offers the choice of three comfortable rooms, each ensuite. There is secret courtyard garden in which to enjoy an evening apero or breakfast in the sunshine. Evening meals are available in the quieter months.
Having spent time working in hospitality and travel I decided it was time to combine my two loves and open a small bed and breakfast. I look forward to welcoming you to my home and sharing this very special village in rural France with you.
Montcuq is a lively village situated on the route for the Compostelle de St Jaques it is popular with both locals and tourists alike. Pretty village houses made from the local Quercy stone lead you through medieval houses and up to the 12 century tower. It offers good a choice of cafes and bars. Sunday is market day and during the summer months this fills most of the village. There is a swimming lake nearby and many walks and cycle routes to explore.
