We have carefully preserved the soul of these places — stone walls, generous volumes and original features — while adding modern comfort to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each house offers its own private living spaces, ensuring independence and privacy, while sharing access to charming outdoor areas. The garden and swimming pool blend naturally into the peaceful surroundings, set among vineyards and typical southern landscapes. It’s the perfect setting to relax, enjoy the sunshine and spend quality time together. More than just a place to stay, Le Domaine du Prieuré offers a unique atmosphere — a place where you slow down, reconnect and enjoy simple moments, whether with family or friends.

Le Domaine du Prieuré enjoys an ideal location, combining peace and quiet with easy access to Carcassonne and its surroundings. The famous medieval city of Carcassonne is just a 10-minute drive away, while the town center, shops, restaurants and markets are only 5 minutes away. Nearby, the Canal du Midi (a UNESCO World Heritage site) offers beautiful walks and bike rides. We provide complimentary bicycles for all ages, allowing you to reach the canal through scenic countryside with vineyards and almond trees. Food lovers will enjoy the many local restaurants and markets, while history enthusiasts can explore the medieval city, its ramparts and museums. All essential shops are just a short drive away, making your stay both convenient and comfortable. Although close to the airport, the area remains very peaceful, with no night flights, ensuring quiet and restful nights. The perfect balance between discovery and relaxation.
