This beautiful stone property is ideally situated to easily reach all the attractions of the South West. It was originally built in the 1800's of Quercy stone and Toulouse brick (unique to this area) and was the manor house at the centre of a large vineyard. Subsequently it changed use over the years and is now a pretty holiday complex with two individual and private self catering holiday cottages plus an impressive B&B suite in the main house. The 2.5ha grounds surround the property with a small fishing lake and a 12x5m swimming pool as well as a games room. We close our B&B suite from End October to End March but our two gites/self catering cottages are open all year round.

We are an English family who sold up and moved to France with our two children in 2010. Initially our command of the French Language made things a little difficult, but we have now fully integrated into the local community and love our lives here.

Only 50 minutes from Toulouse and 2 hours from Bordeaux on the A62 Le Farat is situated minutes from Auvillar, a medieval bastide village with impressive views over the Garonne valley, and listed as one of the prettiest villages in France. The property is also just a few 100m's from the GR65 pilgrims walking route and popular with walkers who are looking for a night of comfort after a long days walk!
