The Hector gîte is located on a small, little-used street where you can park two cars in front of the door. The house can accommodate 6 people, in a comfortable air-conditioned space where pets are welcome. The gîte also boasts a 200m2 private outdoor area with swimming pool. The interior comprises three bedrooms, each with a 160cm bed, storage space, washbasin, shower and air-conditioning. A modern kitchen complete with table and chairs, a sitting area with corner sofa and coffee tables. You'll find everything you need: Wi-Fi, television, mini hi-fi system, bluetooth nomad speaker. The pool area is both sunny and shaded to protect you from the summer heat. This area is equipped with six deckchairs, a table and six chairs, a lounge area with three sofas and a BBQ. Nearby, you'll find all the essentials: bakery, butcher's, mini-market and chemist. There are many tourist attractions. You're just a five-minute walk from the main entrance to the 12th-century medieval Cité. France's third-largest tourist attraction after Mont St Michel. Be sure to book a tour of the ramparts in the late afternoon. Just a few kilometers away, you'll find all the region's major sites, such as the Canal du Midi, the Cathar castles, the vineyards with the wine route, lakes and rivers where you can relax and swim. You'll find a huge variety of bars and restaurants at all price points, but we'll give you the right addresses to suit your culinary tastes and the specialities you want to discover. For sports enthusiasts, the region offers a wide range of activities, including road and mountain biking, golf (with its magnificent 18-hole course), hiking, stopovers and much more.

The gîte is located in a quiet residential area. From the pool you can see the first towers of the medieval city and you're a five-minute walk from the main entrance, called “La porte Narbonnaise”. You're also five minutes from Rue Trivale, one of the city's most popular streets for its atmosphere and restaurants. It will then take you to the center of Carcassonne, known as “La Bastide”, via the Pont Vieux.
