Our beautiful country Manor House is set amongst the Cognac vineyards. We are in a small village in the Charente Maritime, South West France. Close to the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic coast and cities such as Bordeaux, Saintes, Royan and La Rochelle. Our Logis is open throughout the year. We have 5 beautiful spacious rooms or suites over 2 floors, all with ensuite facilities except Paradis which has a private bathroom. Each has tea/coffee making facilities and Wifi throughout. Come and see for yourselves. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU BOOK THE WHOLE HOUSE ON EXCLUSIVE RENTAL SELF-CATERING BASIS, BREAKFAST IS NOT AVAILABLE. IF YOU BOOK LE P'TIT LOGIS, YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE POOL IF THE MAIN HOUSE (LE LOGIS D'EPARGNES) IS ALREADY RENTED ON AN EXCLUSIVE BASIS, WHICH IS MOSTLY, BUT NOT ALWAYS, DURING JULY & AUGUST. We are Sharon and Phil, we are British and love France. We love travelling and have had jobs in the travel industry after starting our careers as French and German teachers. Our love for languages and different cultures lead us to travel and learn more languages - we speak fluent French and German but we can also have a (short) conversation in Italian, Dutch or Spanish!We wish to give our guests an experience closer to that of a small boutique style hotel, rather than that of a traditional B&B. Our rooms are spacious, are beautifully decorated and have all the extra little touches. We want to reflect our love for travel so a travel theme can be found throughout Le Logis. We also want to reflect our love of this beautiful area of France, which of course is famous for its vineyards, delicious wine and of course Cognac, so all our rooms are named after Cognac types.
Le Logis is an ideal place for your holidays, a rural setting so you have the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Epargnes is a small village with an excellent restaurant "Le Presbytere", a baker's, post office & a hairdresser's. There are 3 excellent vineyards where you can do some wine tasting or try out the local speciality "Pineau des Charentes" - a delicious aperitif. Or just sit in the garden or by the pool and relax. We are only 15 minutes to the beaches of Meschers and then another 5 to the gorgeous beaches of the Atlantic coast, St-George de Didonne, Royan, and then slightly further to La Grande Cote and on to La Cote Sauvage and on to La Rochelle and the Islands. So spend your day on these beautiful beaches and then return to our haven of peace at Le Logis.
