In the heart of the Rotja valley, you can hike, cycle, trout fish, enjoy the benefits of a spa treatment or visit this region rich in heritage (6km from Villefranche de Conflent, a UNESCO listed Vauban town), not far from Spain or Andorra. The natural hot springs are 30 minutes away. This gîte is a renovated former mill, built above the torrent (with no direct access to it), with an adjoining garden. Warm and welcoming house, decorated in wood. Ground floor: dining room with fitted kitchen area (fireplace with wood-burning stove), living room, 1 bedroom (1 double bed), shower room (wc). Garden level (lower level): 1 bedroom (1 double bed). 1st floor: Mezzanine opening onto the dining room (1 single bed). Access via a staircase of around fifteen steps to the enclosed garden (parking, outdoor furniture, plancha), shaded and planted with flowers. Wood provided. The gite is close to the village festival, which takes place every year for several days around 15 August.
