A Few Words About Us Cottages de Ripaille is the result of a wonderful family adventure. It all began in 1999, when Thierry and Véronique took over the Tennis Club of Saint Disdille, one of the last private clubs in France. Since then, they have continuously modernized it, adding two squash courts, a fitness room, and more recently, Les Cottages de Ripaille. In this family business, everyone plays a key role: Thierry, a passionate craftsman, took part in the construction of the cottages, while Véronique manages the administration and daily operations. Their eldest daughter, Charlotte, an architect, designed the cottages with a focus on local materials and creative design, making each accommodation truly unique. Emmanuelle, a former professional tennis player (WTA ranking #764, 39th in France) with a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the United States, oversees the management of the cottages, ensuring guests’ comfort and satisfaction. Today, Cottages de Ripaille perfectly combine family expertise, sports know-how, and design, offering guests a warm, modern, and authentic place in the heart of Haute-Savoie.

Located in Thonon-les-Bains, just 300 meters from Lake Geneva and the Parc de la Châtaigneraie, Cottages de Ripaille welcomes you to a peaceful setting between lake and mountains. Our 12 cottages combine the modern comfort of a 4-star hotel with the warm charm of Haute-Savoie, offering a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Each cottage is decorated in a contemporary style and equipped to make you feel at home. Bright, spacious interiors with high ceilings create a unique and pleasant atmosphere. All accommodations are non-smoking and feature Canal+ TV. We offer three types of cottages: - 6 cottages of 45 m², accommodating up to 7 people, with a private bedroom, a mezzanine with three beds, a living room with a sofa bed, and a large private terrace of 25 m². - 4 cottages of 48 m², also designed for 7 people, featuring a private bedroom, a mezzanine with three beds, a spacious living room with sofa bed, and a private terrace of 15 m². - 2 more intimate cottages of 32 m², perfect for 2 people, with a mezzanine featuring a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, and a private terrace of 12 m². All kitchens are fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, ceramic cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. A safe is also provided in each cottage. The cottages are part of a sports complex featuring 2 indoor tennis courts, 2 outdoor clay courts, 2 squash courts, and a modern fitness room, with preferential rates for guests. Thonon-les-Bains city center is just an 8-minute drive away, and Bernex ski resort is 20 minutes by car. Whether you are visiting with family, friends, or as a couple, our cottages offer the perfect base to enjoy Haute-Savoie, combining nature, sport, and relaxation.
