We have a renovated villa in the lovely village of Lantosque, on the edge of the Mercantour National Park and just a 40 minute drive from Nice airport and the Mediterranean coast. Les Hortensias is perfect for your mountain get away in the sunshine, with just 2 letting rooms, it’s like being in your own villa. Perfect for 2 couples or 4 singles, as you will have the whole place to yourselves, with only the owners on site to ensure you are having an amazing stay.
There are two connecting guest rooms with zip and link twin/super-king beds, that are both en-suite and have direct access onto an east facing terrace. There is a swimming pool (1st May to 1st October), boules pitch, a ping pong table and an outside kitchen with BBQ and 2 covered dining areas for guests to prepare their own meals and snacks and your breakfast is served in one of these.
We are Peter & Stuart and, British hospitality professionals, having both worked in the travel industry for many years, we have finally settled in Lantosque. We have created an oasis of calm in the mountains behind Nice for guests to come and relax and enjoy. We are not fluent in French, but we do try and are getting better.
Lantosque is on the edge of the Mercantour National Park and is superbly situated for walkers, cyclists and those that wish to explore
the Alpes Maritimes, but near enough to Monaco, Nice and Cannes if you would like to experience Riviera life. In the winter there are lots of winter sport opportunities nearby.
