B&B on the banks of the river Loire on an island at Loire at La Charité-sur-Loire. 3 minutes by foot to town centre and 4 Minutes by car to La Charité-sur-Loire train station (1,1km / 15 min by foot). 100m to summer pool. A shared lounge and free WiFi. A small co-working space usable for a fee per day. Free (simple) breakfast. Many festivals from spring to autumn and also a lot off cultural activities during the winter season. Canoe, cycling, hiking, tennis and many other sports can be enjoyed within close proximity of Maison de la Loire. The regional 'capital' Nevers is 25 km and Bourges is 50 km from the accommodation. La Charité has a direct train to Paris (2 hrs) and 3 (!) autoroute exits, the Eurovelo-Route No. 6 passes in 200m distance and we are directly on the Jacob's pilgrims’ path to Saint Compostella
