A beautiful two bed gite in the heart of Brittany. Traditionally decorated to give visitors a stay to remember for its cozy interior and rural beauty. This property boasts an open plan kitchen-dining area, with a wood aga and large dining room table for meals together. In the living room there is a fully functioning log burning stove. Wifi, Netflix and French and English satellite TV are available. On arrival, guests are provided with a bundle to get them started on their stay. The first basket of logs are provided for use on the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and small appliances. The stairs to this property are open tread and relatively steep so this should be a consideration for potential guests. Upstairs, the landing leads to the master bedroom where guests can find a luxurious king bed. The second bedroom is a spacious twin bedroom with two single beds. In between the two bedrooms, guests will find a bright and airy family bathroom. Ironing facilities and a hairdryer is provided for convenience. Babies and toddlers are classified as one guest. Baby gates can be fitted on request, however cots are not available. In the south-facing garden, guests can find a heated above ground pool and loungers to relax on. Al-fresco dining is a must during the summer months with a BBQ and dining table to sit and enjoy the summer evenings. The gite adjoins to our neighbouring one-bed gite, which upon request is available to rent on the same booking.

We are an English couple, known as Rick and Ju, who have lived in Brittany for 6 years. We are an easy-going pair and will welcome you to the property to help you get settled in. We are more than happy to help you find places to go while you stay with us.

Just a 15 drive from the gite are Rostrenen and Callac (typically French towns). Lively market days are Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Tremargat is a 10 minute drive, where guests can arrange to canoe, cycle, arch and fish or enjoy the scenic lakes. This property is perfect for a relaxing retreat for those wanting to escape a faster pace of life. Guest should be advised that they will need their own transportation due to the rural location. Our neighbours are generally quite private and we ask that you respect this. We also ask that while staying with us that you do not have any parties.
