This fabulous 5 bedroom house is the main part of a large chalet comprising of two separate private units. Set in pretty gardens, with a stylish interior, bar, wood burner, WIFI, secure bike storage and is well equipped. With a prime location in the centre of the village, ideal for road cyclists seeking to ride the famous cols, and for winter sports being a few minutes walk to the new Eau d'Olle Express gondola to Oz en Oisans/Alpe d'huez, lets you reach the slopes in less than 8 minutes!

Allemond is a charming village, with a good choice of amenities including a bakery, restaurants, bars and sports hire shop. It offers the perfect base for exploring the Oisans summer and winter. In summer Cyclists can set off on the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix de Fer from Allemond, and there is a wide network of marked routes through the Grandes Rousses Massif and Belledonne Massif, not forgetting the famous Alpe d’huez and the other local climbs such as Villard Reculas, col d’Ornon, all are just a short ride away. Summer and winter there are free shuttle buses to take you up to the Mountain Biking trails and Ski slopes of Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine, via Vaujany and Oz en Oisans. There is a watersports centre on Lac Verney where you can hire pedalo boats, go canoeing, windsurfing, or try out stand-up paddle. The pretty local Parc, is the venue for the majority of summer events. Nearby is a skatepark, tennis court, outdoor swimming pool, climbing wall and skate park. There is a wide range of hiking trails leaving from Allemond, some flat and accessible with a pushchair, and other more strenuous ones! In winter Allemond is far from the crowds, yet close enough to the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine ski resort. The local Eau d’Olle express in Allemond takes you up to Oz en Oisans ski area in just 8 minutes.
