Welcome We're delighted to open the doors of our home in Lampaul-Plouarzel, right on the Iroise Sea. We're deeply attached to this coast — its changing light, its islands of Ouessant and Molène, and this far-western corner of Finistère where the Atlantic feels unlike anywhere else. We renovated the house with a simple idea in mind: to share what we love about this place — the view, the quiet, the trails, and that rare sense of truly being at the edge of something. As GR34 hikers and lovers of local food and seafaring stories, we'll gladly share a few spots and routes you won't find in guidebooks: a cove you can only reach at low tide, a seafood restaurant where the locals actually go, a bakery worth the detour, and the best headland for sunset depending on the season. The beach, walking distance from the house Le Gouérou beach is a 5-minute walk along the GR34 that runs past the gate. A well-known bodyboarding spot, quiet even in high summer. The coastline of Lampaul-Plouarzel offers several beaches with very distinct characters: narrow coves accessible at low tide, sandy bays, rocky headlands. Even in August, you can easily find a quiet corner. Shops and everyday life In Lampaul-Plouarzel village: Proxi grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, bar-PMU, restaurants. Super U supermarket in Plouarzel (5 km). Saint-Renan market every Saturday morning (12 km) — one of the most renowned in northern Finistère for fresh produce and local makers.
